Walter A. Bernard is an attorney and former professional football player who earned his JD and MBA at Howard University. He represents individuals confronting institutions and adversaries with substantially greater wealth, influence, and resources. In 2023, Bernard was arrested at his home and jailed for nineteen days in connection with a civil matter. The experience drew national attention from the civil rights bar and reshaped how he practices. He currently serves as appellate counsel before the Eleventh Circuit.
